Filter Pipette Tips, Capacity 2-100 Microlitres

The filter tips with a capacity of 2-100 microlitres from Kartell are laboratory accessories designed to ensure maximum safety and precision in pipetting operations. Compatible with most automatic micropipettes available on the market, they are particularly suitable for applications in molecular biology, cell cultures, bacteriology, virology, immunology, and radioimmunology. The integrated hydrophobic filter provides effective protection against cross-contamination of samples and instruments.

Features and Materials

These tips are made from high-quality polypropylene and are equipped with a hydrophobic polyethylene filter, which acts as a barrier against aerosols. They are supplied in racks, sterilised with gamma radiation, and can be further autoclaved at +121°C for 20 minutes. They are pyrogen-free and free from DNase, RNase, DNA, ATP, metals, cadmium, and PCR inhibitors. The size of the filter holes ensures complete emptying and recovery of the contents even in cases of excessive aspiration, preventing contamination of both the samples and the micropipette.
