The gamma irradiated inoculating loops from Kartell LABWARE are single-use instruments designed for applications in microbiology and histology. Made from impact-resistant polystyrene, they allow for the safe handling of samples without the need for flame sterilisation. Available in two capacities, they are easily identifiable due to their differentiated colouring and help reduce the risk of cross-contamination, making them suitable for use outside the laboratory as well.

• Made from impact-resistant polystyrene (PS)
• Sterilised by gamma irradiation, ready to use
• Identification ring: neutral for 1 μl, blue for 10 μl
• Opposite end equipped with an inoculation needle, ideal for picking single colonies from agar
• Prevent aerosol formation and cross-contamination compared to metal loops
• Do not damage the nutrient medium
• Suitable for both laboratory and external use due to the elimination of flaming
