PTFE Linings for Glass Tapers
The PTFE linings for glass tapers from Kartell LABWARE are designed to protect standard DIN 12242 ground glass tapers from jamming during laboratory operations. Made from PTFE, they ensure an optimal seal even without the use of grease, thus avoiding contamination from lipid residues in analytical processes.
Features and Materials
The linings have an extremely thin profile that does not alter the dimensions of the glass tapers, allowing for easy use of conical joints. They are characterised by high chemical and thermal resistance, making them suitable for multiple analytical applications. The material used is PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), known for its chemical inertness and thermal stability.
